Medication List
You should take an active role in documenting and maintaining an accurate, up-to-date listing of your allergy and medication history. This list should include all prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as herbals, nutritional supplements and vitamins that you are currently taking. You should note dosage, strength and time taken. The healthcare team needs to know this information to provide the best possible care. This information should be kept with you at all times and updated whenever a change occurs.
Smoke- and Tobacco-Free Campus
Lutheran Downtown Hospital is a smoke- and tobacco-free facility. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, vaping devices and other similar products, along with the use of any other tobacco products, is prohibited on the hospital campus.
The smoke- and tobacco-free policy was not created to infringe upon the right of personal choice, but rather to promote and protect the health and safety of those receiving care. It is especially important that those who may have compromised immune systems or other health conditions that leave them more susceptible to the effects of secondhand smoke not be exposed to it while on the hospital campus.
