Your doctor needs to get quick and reliable lab results. That's why we maintain a highly accredited laboratory with a range of services. A team of professionals is continually pursuing education, finding and evaluating new tests and procedures.
The laboratory is Joint Commission accredited and equipped to process a multitude of blood tests and cultures, including tests for rare blood coagulation disorders. Test results are posted electronically on the hospital's computer network, ensuring that your physician has fast access to the results.
We recognize that every test is a priority and seconds count, but not as much as accuracy. The lab's performance is rated on accuracy. Though we work as quickly as possible, the first concern will always remain accuracy.
The outpatient lab is located on the first floor of Lutheran Downtown Hospital and is open for walk-in services Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
